Apply for Funding

 

In general, organizations looking to receive funding from the Ballengee Foundation must demonstrate:

• strong and creative leadership;

• a transformative program model with a track record of success;

• evaluation capacity;

• the potential for increased impact in Shreveport/ Bossier area; and

• alignment with the  Ballengee Foundation’s mission and areas of giving

All applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)3 tax-exempt status

• Agencies (or programs within agencies) that serve people in the Shreveport/ Bossier area

•  

The following entities are ineligible for a grant from the Ballengee Foundation:

• Individuals

• Endowments or Private Foundations

• Religious organizations, where the grant is to be used for sectarian purposes

• Federal, state, or municipal agencies

• Political campaigns
