Girls on the RunGirls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.
The Gingerbread HouseThe Gingerbread House Bossier/Caddo Children’s Advocacy Center is a community-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that began serving abused children in 1998. The Center works in close collaboration with local law enforcement, child protective services, the district attorney’s offices, and medical and mental health professionals to provide the best possible services for abused children and their families.
